good morning. it was so great seeing to many of you over the weekend at the garage sale at kate's.

seeing and talking to all of you is what i miss the most about having the store closed.

we have been having the conversation that kate, helen and laura all miss teaching. what do you think? would you like us to set up a day with some classes and cropping? how many of you are interested and what day would work best? saturday, sunday? would you want to take more than 1 class?

i'm working on sending out a survey, but in the meantime i'd appreciate a little feedback.

saturday morning

can hardly belive that Erin is going to be 4 tomorrow...where does the time go?  such a joy to watch her grow and so scary to see how fast.   she makes me laugh every day.

so laura and i hit 4 sales yesterday and she WON!   boy i don't say that often :)   sad part is she probably isn't going to be allowed out with me any time soon.

but honestly, love the baby clothes i found, in incredible condition and even some baby boy which almost never happens.  and on really cute vintage hangers too.   found an antique wicker doll carriage for that needs a bit of cleaning up, but still has its original corduroy lining in great condition. 

found a memorial magazine about carol lombard life written by louella parsons.  photos are great.

a few vintage office supplies and and order pads.

some old pressed glass and a piece of two of china, including a blue delft vase/bottle  made in holland in a very cool shape

yes, i have been missing is action for months. now trying to get my act back together.

have been "pickin" for vintage stuff to sell in the etsy store, and trying to get a garage sale ready.

okay, i lied....monday the 22nd will be our last day...i had thought i was not going to be able to be here, but that changed so....we will be open on monday.

discounts raised to 65% off with 85% off on the clearance table items.

we will be having an ibbitts and obbitts sale in the crop room on saturday and sunday.

there are still past class kits available and class samples for purchase. we have fixtures that are not yet spoken for too.

we are still finding stuff in the "magic" rooms and putting them out on the floor and the clearance table. still lots of alphas, paper, paint, quickutz and sizzix dies, books and magazines. there is still ribbon! lots of clear stamps. class samples and past kits.

the last days at paper tales...sunday is the end , except for the mop up. i'm shocked at how much is left. and saturday and sunday we'll have a garage sale in the crop room. used tools and odds and ends, broken packages etc.

prices reduced today. most of the store is 45% off. clearance table is 70% off. don't have a firm closing date yet, but aiming around the 20-21st. we will see how the week and the weather goes.
