more tired, maybe. since getting up last friday morning i've had about 4 1/2 hours of sleep. countless hours of laughter, way toooo much food (but some of it i had to fight for), 1 beer, and i actually scrapped a couple of pieces of paper!!! GASP!!!!
thank you charlene (the instigator), theresa, cheryl, iris, helen, natalie, betty, ginnie, gayle, teresa, pam, carla, stephanie, shannon, carolyn, jodie and sandy :D AND mike!!!
mike took over the store as a mother's day present to me and the rest of them hauled me off the memories manor aka/paper tales north (www.memoriesmanor.com) for a scrapbook weekend. (paper tales peeps took over the whole place - 18 beds - for the weekend) the new one up in st. clair, and they are awesome!!!! built in 1880 this 10,000 sq ft mansion has been exquisitely restored and outfitted for scrappers. ya gotta go! jan and deanna have it down, including gourmet food and the chocolate. i could really get used to waking up to the smell of blueberry french toast and having someone prepare and serve (and clean up) chicken picatta every night. i would have missed all the snacks tho, if it hadn't been for iris. the beauty of this home just has to inspire you with the color and grace and details. and if that is not enough inspiration, go seat in an upstairs window seat and watch the sun shine on the water out your bedroom window.
we've decided we will "dress" for dinner on friday night next year, in a style befitting the manor. you will want your name on the list when you see the pictures. stay tuned!!!
good night:)
